Our program is based on a six days a week protocol, monday through saturday from 8 am through 3 pm. (everyday with IV's).
Subclavian catheter is a mandatory procedure since the begining to avoid vein puncture every single day, that's a very simple procedure that requires a few minutes and under local anesthesia, once the catheter is in place is ready to be used and time to stay is perfect for the weeks of treatment that you choose, it's portected with special tape water proofed, painless, and the nurses take care of that just cleaning the area and putting a new tape. (simple), if for some reason you take blood thinners let us know before your arrival to see if it's possible to discontinue for a few days, other wise the other approach is to install a PICC line through a vein in the arm.
Suggested program time: Minimum of 4 weeks with no maximum. (most of the times patients take a break for only a few weeks and then come back to continue with the therapy)
